The movie is a crime thriller which touches on various conflicts between powerful, corrupt dance bar owners and the Mumbai police.  Mumbai Mirror has its intense moments when we get to see touch choices being made, while at the same time there are some silly moments with overdone high flying wire work.  The main hook that got me into the movie was the song Marjawa sung by Sonu Nigam.  The song is average but enjoyable.  My only grip was some of Sachin J Joshi’s (Abhijeet Patil) amateurish acting moments throughout the movie.  This is not to say that his acting was not good… I am just saying that you can you can see and feel the disconnect at times. The best case in point was his performance for the musical portion of Marjawa was lacking and corny, while he completely nailed his performance in the opening sequence of Govinda Ala Re sung by Wajid Ali.

Overall I have to give Mumbai Mirror a 6/10.
